SCHOOL IS COMING....

I can hardly believe summer is coming to a close.  It hardly seems possible.  Well we survived our week without the kids.  Terry and I did what we always do to survive, we worked!  We really must learn how to enjoy ourselves that week they are gone!  The kids however had a great time.  They swam and went to the zoo and were spoiled beyond belief.  They also attended the fair there which was a huge hit for both them and Terry and I because we didn't have to go, lol!

Terry and I headed out to pick them up on Friday.  It could not have came soon enough!  We also got to celebrate Hunter's 1st Birthday which was super fun.  He is adorable!

Do you think they missed their Daddy?!

THE SUPER CUTE BIRTHDAY BOY!

We got back on Sunday and it wasn't long before things seemed back to normal.  I heard "Mom" about 100 times and it was complete chaos getting showers and dinner.  It was awesome!

This week was a little crazy because we don't have daycare for Raelynn so she is being shuffled everywhere thanks to good friends and family.  Monday she spent the day with Aunt Bonnie, Tuesday she was with Aunt Bonnie again and they went to the fair in Oskaloosa.  She spent the day with friends, cousins, pigs, horses and ended it with a parade.  For Raelynn, it doesn't get any better than that.  On Wednesday Raelynn got to spend one last day and Mary Beth's before we are gone from there for good when Coop finishes next Friday.  Raelynn has looked forward to that day all summer.  She got to be their helper for a day and she loved it.  Today Karli had both of the kids.  They went bowling, played at the McDonald's Play land and chilled around the house.  Tomorrow we have no plans for her so she will start the day at least with Terry, from there who knows.  Speaking of Terry, he has been working like crazy.  He is installing flooring for his niece at night and we haven't seen him basically for 2 weeks.  Tonight, sweet Coop broke into tears at bedtime because Daddy had not been there to read his Ninja book and apparently, to my surprise, I just do not read it as well.  It was so sad.  If you know Coop you know he never cries unless his feelings are REALLY hurt or he is physically hurt.  He was trying so hard to keep it together tonight but as he started to tell me in this quiet voice the tears just ran down his face.  He is so sweet and loving and it just gave me another excuse to hold him tight and snuggle.  He settled for letting me read a Super Hero book but he was just never quite into it.  I do believe Daddy better be home by bedtime tomorrow!

Saturday Raelynn has another horse show but this time Aunt Bonnie is not going to be there.  I am in deed a little nervous but thankfully Wendi and Uncle Brian will make sure the horses are there  and we are ready to go.  Every day Raelynn's love for her horses grows and every day I become more amazed with her.  Below is a pic of Raelynn and Aunt Steph but it was so cute I just had to share.  I don't know what it is about it but it encompasses all of Raelynn and I love it!

Anyone that follows me on FB knows that one of the families that we funded for CCF this year has gone out of her way to give back to the foundation.  She is extremely talented and very creative.  She began making lockets and has donated some of her earnings to the foundation.  This is one of the beautiful lockets she made for me.  I just can't say enough nice things about her.  She is a beautiful person inside and out!  If anyone would like a custom locket please get in touch with her, belinda18@gmail.com!
