COOPER IS IN HIS CARDIAC CATH....

Well everything is going great. We got here around 7:30 am and got checked in and on our way to the cath lab. Everyone is so nice and wonderful here. They decided this time to give him versed (sp?) before we left him. They gave it to him orally and he just went off to Lala land. It was so funny, it was like he could hardly keep his eyes open and he didn't even cry when he left us. He was much more attached to this Magna Doodle then he was to us so they let him take it with him into surgery. He was still writing as they entered the cath lab. It made it so much easier for both him and us. They will update us in 45 min and the procedure will last around 2 hours. It does not sound like we will know much about what they plan to do from here for a couple weeks because our heart surgeon will not be at conference tomorrow so they probably won't review his case until next Friday. We will know today though if there is anything going on that we do not already know about. So everything is going well and we'll keep you posted!
