A WEEKEND AT HOME…………...

Woohoo!  We finally had a weekend at home.  It was so nice to be at home this weekend and what a great weekend it was.  Yesterday we didn't have much going on except the typical clean house, organize ourselves, prepare for the week ahead, groceries, etc.  However we had to start the day with a trip to the doctor.  Coop woke up in the middle of the night crying saying his ear hurt so bad.  He finally fell asleep after Advil, an hour of tossing and turning and snuggling with Dad.  We got in to the doctor about 9:30am and he had a double ear infection.  So we also got to visit our wonderful pharmacy and we were set.  Saturday night was filled with fun though.  Aunt Steph and Uncle Cody invited Coop to a Monster Truck Show and he was super excited.  He said he loved it and their were motorcycles too.  I think what he loved most was the monster truck they bought him that lit up!!!

Raelynn came with Terry and I to have dinner with friends.  It was so good to see them as we do not get together very often any more.

Today was so nice outside!  After lunch we spent time playing basketball and baseball and riding bikes and scooters.  These nice days are far and few between this time of year so we wanted to make sure we enjoyed it.  Steph and Cody brought Coop home so they participated in our fun as well!!!

Tomorrow the kids don't have school so they are spending the day with Aunt Bonnie.  It's been a while since they saw her and Raelynn cannot wait to see her pony, Moon.  I hope they have a fun day on the farm.  As for Terry and I, it's back to work but it is so nice to have a routine again and things done and ready for the week ahead.

My Mom is doing great!  Her pic line was removed on Friday and they are letting her work a little bit with hopes of being back to work full time by the first of February.  My Mom has chose to quit smoking through all of this.  She had went so many days in the hospital and just decided it was time to quit.  I am so proud of her choice and know it will be hard for her but hope she will stay strong because it is such a huge step to improving her health.  I guess there is good that comes from every thing!
